New method to Reset your Windows Phone

MS has bought a new method to reset your windows phone in 3rd gen phones

This comes as a surprise as WE can already reset our phones by settings-about-reset or pressing a given set of keys.

This method is called Special phone reset and works only in 3rd gen phones

TO invoke it just go to your dialer and press ##777#

IT WORKS ONLY IN 3rd gen phones like 530,535,630,635,636,638,730,735,830,930

WMPU reports that , this way of reset wont delete your Downloaded Maps or the Network Settings. So, this is actually a type of Factory Reset which would change the settings back to as they were when the phone was first booted. And again I would say, that it wont delete the Maps Data or affect network settings.

And, yes this trick doesn’t work in the Emergency Call Dialer.
